Tapspace™
Publications, LLC is a publishing company specializing
in creative percussion music. Formed in 1998, our niche has focused
on advanced rudimental percussion music, concert percussion solos, and
ensembles. Our headquarters are stationed in Portland, Oregon. Our publications
are available for purchase worldwide from our website or from a collection
of outstanding retailers.
Many of our offerings are available exclusively on the Tapspace website
in downloadable format, allowing quick and easy access to our popular
music for adventurous percussionists.
In
2003, Tapspace continued on its course of creative innovation with the release
of its first software product, Virtual Drumline™ which allows users
to achieve ultra lifelike playback of percussion sounds while composing.
Since then, Virtual Drumline has revolutionized the way music educators,
composers, and arrangers write and teach their music and has become a standard
library of sounds in the education field. Through this innovative period,
Tapspace has formed partnerships with Sibelius Software and MakeMusic!, the
world's two leading developers of notation software who have each adopted
standards from Virtual Drumline which has influenced the evolution of their
software.
With
a star-studded list of contributing artists,
we are proud to offer some of the most innovative music and educational materials
written for the percussion world. Our works have been performed by thousands
of percussionists around the world, and being used daily to help shape and
influence the rapidly growing percussive arts. This makes Tapspace a premier
